CocoonFMS® provides cloud-based logistics software for freight forwarders, project forwarders, 3PLs, 4PLs, ship agents, couriers and transport operators. CocoonOPS is the flagship Transport Management System within the CocoonFMS® product suite.

Yes. CocoonOPS is a SaaS product, so there is no need to use remote desktops, desktop applications or additional software to access the system. Users access the system through a browser.

CocoonFMS® can spin up instances in regions including the EU, USA and Far East. The infrastructure is designed to support GDPR-compliant operations.

Products are backed up every four hours. CocoonFMS® can restore instances quickly and uses bug and error tracking to help identify and resolve issues before they become a wider problem.

Yes. CocoonOPS includes AI agents designed to automate specific operational tasks. The system can read documents and use the data to populate shipment records. This can include purchase or supplier invoices, commercial invoices and booking documents. Users can drag documents into the system or send them by email. CocoonFMS® also has integrations with other AI providers, including Breeze AI for cargo insurance and iCustoms for customs.

Yes. CocoonOPS supports both groupage and standard shipments. It includes a transport module that allows users to build groupage loads by dragging and dropping shipments. It can also support airfreight consolidation and LCL groupage containers, including buyers’ consolidations.

Yes. CocoonOPS can generate shipping documents such as collection notes, delivery notes and house bills. Your own document templates can also be used. Users can drag emails, desktop files or folder documents into a shipment. Customers can also upload documents to shipments through CocoonTMP®, the customer portal, with operators receiving an email notification when a document is uploaded.

Yes. CocoonFMS® supports multi-factor authentication and strongly recommends MFA for all users. Data is also secured and encrypted, with MFA adding an extra level of protection.

Yes. CocoonFMS® works with various customs providers and can also support direct customs clearances through the customs module. Additional charges apply, which is standard for customs functionality. Import, export and transit declarations can be supported.

Yes. CocoonFMS® includes a customer portal called CocoonTMP®. The portal gives clients useful tools and shipment information. You can also allow consignees, consignors and foreign agents to access only their relevant shipments. The portal includes API capability for ERP integration and can allow customers to book shipments.

Yes. CocoonOPS includes 20+ standard preformatted reports, with more reports planned. Reports include profit and loss, invoice reports, quote reports, consignment counts by mode, carbon balance and more.

Yes. Reports can be scheduled and sent by email hourly, weekly, monthly or at set times. Reports are sent by email to keep the process quick and simple.

CocoonFMS® would need an example report and an explanation of what the report is based on. The team can then assess whether it can be built into the reporting suite. In many cases, similar reports may already be on the development plan.

Yes. CocoonOPS supports integrations with accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and others. These integrations can sync invoices to financial systems, reduce manual administration and help reduce errors. If an invoice is reconciled in the accounting software, CocoonOPS can update the invoice and credit limits automatically.

Yes. CocoonOPS offers an API marketplace for connecting with accounting systems, vehicle tracking systems, ERPs and other platforms. EDI integrations are also supported.

CocoonDEM is a demurrage and detention tool within the CocoonFMS® platform. It automates port cost calculations and container management, helping users minimise demurrage and detention fees. It is currently also available as a standalone product.

Yes. CocoonFMS® includes carbon emissions data as standard. Emissions data can be provided on quotations, shipments, consignments and invoices. The system provides actionable data, including Well-to-Wheel emissions and other metrics in a simple, easy-to-understand format. Certificates of Emission Reductions, serial numbers and project numbers for carbon offsetting, avoidance or insetting can also be recorded.

CocoonCarbon® is a logistics carbon emissions calculator developed by CocoonFMS® Ltd. It enables freight forwarders, 3PLs, shippers and businesses moving freight to calculate shipment-level CO₂ emissions across transport modes, from door to door.

Emissions are calculated using shipment-specific inputs such as origin, destination, weight and mode. The methodology is designed to align with recognised frameworks including the GLEC Framework, ISO 14083 and the GHG Protocol for Scope 3 categories 4 and 9.

CocoonCarbon® supports air, sea freight including FCL and LCL, road freight including FTL and LTL, HVO fuel, rail including electric and diesel, inland waterways and last-mile delivery. It also supports complex multimodal shipments.

Yes. CocoonCarbon® is available as an iframe widget that can be embedded into your website. This allows users to calculate emissions through your site, making it suitable for client-facing tools or internal ESG workflows.

Yes. CocoonCarbon® can calculate emissions instantly per shipment, with immediate visibility through dashboards or integrated systems.

CocoonCarbon® can generate downloadable, audit-ready CO₂ reports by shipment, client or reporting period. These reports are useful for ESG compliance, tenders and client reporting. Reports can also be emailed or scheduled.

Yes. CocoonCarbon® is suitable for startup freight forwarders through to global logistics enterprises. It is not only for freight forwarders. If your business moves goods by freight vehicle, the system can be used. It can also integrate with ERP systems, FMS platforms and TMS platforms.

CocoonCarbon® automates CO₂ tracking in line with recognised standards, helping businesses provide transparent and credible emissions data for RFPs and tender submissions. CocoonFMS® follows GLEC and ISO 14083, with a strong focus on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol framework.

Yes. CocoonCarbon® can integrate with third-party TMS platforms, including systems such as CargoWise, as long as structured data is available. Integrations can be completed quickly where the required data is accessible.
